Contracts Manager (Shopfitting)

This company is a leading construction and shopfitting main contractor. They were established over 25 years ago and specialise in the construction of retail interiors which are tailor made to suit clients own needs, specifications and corporate identities. They are also involved in new build construction including retail, industrial and commercial buildings. They undertake a full range of disciplines required in the industry. At site level this include demolition, construction, services installations, joinery, metalwork, floor, ceiling and finishes. They also provide a full project management and health and safety service using their in-house teams.

 

They are currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager who can work on projects in the North of England. Projects can vary in value from £50k up to £3 million in value and are predominately large retail fit-outs. The Contracts Manager will be responsible for a number of projects (2-3 usually) and must be willing to travel to visit project son a regular basis

 

Experience required: 
• Experience of project management/contract management/site management. Demonstrable ability to present and manage project plans

• Candidates must have worked for other retail interior and construction main contractors in the UK
• Good knowledge and understanding of the industry
• Understanding of issues such as building regulations and planning
• Experience in a customer facing role, with a proven track record of putting client first
• Knowledge of Health and Safety and Environmental safety requirements
